Sales Training is useless.

How many trainings have you been to over your career? You know the week long intense workshops with co-workers you can't stand but have to role play with?

They don't work in the end. Why? Sales people resort back to the same patterns and behaviors they carry BEFORE the sales training. 

Sales people have egos. And big ones at that. Learning something new is not gonna happen for them. Oh sure, they'll show up and play the "game" for their job and get some great late night parties out of the deal where half of them come hung over the next day after 2 hours of sleep. Don't kid yourself that your pipeline is gonna grow 6X.

It's crazy how much money corporations spend on training there sales force. Crazy money that doesn't give much ROI. It really doesn't.

What do you do then to achieve better sales efforts? The answer might shock you. It's pretty simple. It happens within the salespersons mind.
